The International Conference “Intellectual Property, Managing Green Technologies and Climate Change Mitigation Technologies (CCMT)” was organised on 10 and 11 October, 2018, by Bocconi University with the support of the European Patent Office. This International Conference, held in Milan, had the objective to build upon the results of an event on "Climate Change Mitigation Technologies", co-organized by the European Patent Office in Athens on 21 and 22 September 2017.‎

IRENA provided an overview of patents in the renewable energy sector, underlining latest patents trends and innovation needs in the close future. The Agency also participated in the roundtable discussion focused on technological convergence and IP.
