The meeting provided a platform for an exchange of experiences and best practices regarding the development and use of LTES and innovative scenario planning approaches.
The meeting served as an opportunity to update the Membership on the agency’s latest work and findings on hydropower, as well on the status and outcomes of other relevant initiatives from other stakeholders.
IRENA, the EU and the PtX Hub collaborated on a series of workshops that serve to enhance the dialogue over the challenges and policy measures needed to develop green hydrogen, as well as support the development of a related global regulatory framework.
The meeting aimed to facilitate discussions among High-Level officials and decisionmakers on key hydropower-related issues and experiences, and to identify potential pathways and concrete actions needed in charting a bright future for hydropower.

At the third meeting of the Collaborative Framework, IRENA presented the preliminary outline and suggested content of the report and seek Member input on its scope and framing.
The third virtual meeting of the Collaborative Framework on Hydropower aimed to raise awareness amongst Members on the most pressing hydropower-related issues. The meeting also presented an opportunity for Member States to share their knowledge, experiences and best practices.
