IRENA’s “Long-term Energy Scenarios Network” (LTES Network) provides a platform for national and regional energy scenario practitioners to share experience and good practices in using and developing scenarios.
The training course focuses on foundational elements of modelling with the SPLAT-SN model, such as review of input data and concepts, updating the model, and defining scenarios to be analysed.
The workshop aims to facilitate knowledge sharing among government scenario practitioners on the challenges and benefits of involving diverse stakeholders in the development of long-term energy scenarios.
